Cast iron irrigation water meter
Projects Details
As a major agricultural country, Philippines consumes a very high proportion of its water resources for irrigation. However, traditional metering equipment suffers from insufficient accuracy and poor weather resistance, which has long hindered the efficient use of water resources and cost control.
Addressing the unique characteristics of the Philippines’ tropical, rainy, and complex water conditions, WESDUN customized cast iron irrigation water meters offer significant advantages: Made of high-strength cast iron, they are corrosion-resistant and impact-resistant, capable of withstanding the harsh environment of long-term outdoor installation; equipped with a high-precision metering mechanism, the error rate is controlled within
±2%, accurately capturing flow data under different irrigation scenarios; and featuring a leak-proof design, effectively preventing water waste and metering losses.
During project installation, WESDUN group provided comprehensive customized services: In the early stages, they conducted in-depth on-site surveys of key parameters such as irrigation area and water pressure to optimize water meter specifications and installation plans; in the mid-stage, they strictly controlled the production process, implementing multiple quality inspection processes including water pressure testing and aging resistance testing to ensure that each device met international Measurement Standards; and in the later stages, they dispatched technical personnel to provide on-site guidance for installation and commissioning, and provided full-cycle operation and maintenance training.
After the irrigation water meter equipment was put into operation, the water treatment plant’s irrigation water metering efficiency increased by 40%, and water resource utilization improved by 15%. This not only provided a stable water supply for agricultural production but also helped the plant achieve precise control over irrigation costs.
The successful implementation of this Philippine water treatment plant project represents a significant breakthrough for WESDUN in its efforts to cultivate the Southeast Asian water market. In the future, we will continue to provide high-quality products and services to help more overseas clients achieve sustainable water resource management.
