From September 27 to 29, 2025, the 9th Pakistan International Industrial Fair (ITIF ASIA) was grandly held at the Lahore Expo Center in Lahore, Pakistan’s “industrial heart.” WESDUN showcased its core valve and water meter products at this premier industry event, which brought together over 200 companies from China and Pakistan. The company engaged in in-depth discussions with global buyers, strategically positioning itself in the South Asian market.

As Pakistan’s largest industrial exhibition, this edition focused on key sectors including engineering equipment and power/new energy. It attracted prominent guests such as Shabir Ahmed Usmani, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, and the Chairman of the Punjab Investment and Trade Commission. On its opening day alone, the event welcomed over 6,300 professional visitors, with cumulative attendance exceeding 16,000 over three days, establishing itself as a vital platform for China-Pakistan economic and trade cooperation.
As the capital of Punjab Province, Lahore serves not only as a hub for Pakistan’s traditional manufacturing and emerging industries but also as a strategic gateway for enterprises targeting South Asia’s 220-million-strong market. This is facilitated by its comprehensive industrial park infrastructure and supportive policies, providing fertile ground for WESDUN’s overseas expansion.

Throughout the exhibition, WESDUN’s booth witnessed intense business discussions. Addressing Pakistan’s core industries—textiles, chemicals, and automotive—which demand robust fluid control solutions, the team highlighted its industrial valve series featuring corrosion resistance and pressure tolerance. These valves’ precise medium control capabilities and stable performance garnered significant attention from local manufacturers.
Simultaneously, aligning with South Asia’s infrastructure upgrade demands, the company’s smart water meters—combining metering precision with digital management advantages—drew frequent inquiries from Pakistan’s water authorities and engineering contractors. Numerous buyers expressed on-site interest in agency partnerships and procurement.

“The Pakistan Industrial Exhibition has built an exceptional bridge for us to directly engage with the market,” stated the Head of Overseas Markets at WESDUN. “Lahore’s well-developed industrial ecosystem and policy incentives, combined with the high-quality business opportunities generated by the exhibition, have made us keenly aware of the potential in the South Asian market. Through in-depth exchanges with local buyers, we not only secured over ten letters of intent but also gained clarity on the direction for localizing our products.”
This exhibition marks a significant step in WESDUN’s South Asian market strategy. Moving forward, the company will leverage this event to further connect with the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and local industrial park resources, deepen collaboration with Pakistani partners, and introduce more precision valves and water meters tailored to South Asian market needs. By driving technological innovation, WESDUN aims to support Pakistan’s industrial upgrading and infrastructure development while continuously expanding its global market footprint.
