October 23–25 saw the highly anticipated South Africa International Industrial Expo trade show take center stage in Johannesburg, drawing significant attention from Africa’s industrial sector. As a leading enterprise in fluid control, WESDUN showcased its full range of core valve and flowmeter products.
By offering customized solutions tailored to African industrial scenarios, the company precisely addressed customers’ core challenges in fluid control—including inaccurate flow measurement, excessive energy consumption, and difficult maintenance—making it a focal point at the exhibition.

Amid Africa’s rapid industrial development, fluid control challenges have become increasingly prominent: harsh conditions like high temperatures and corrosion cause valve seal failures and shortened lifespans; insufficient measurement accuracy in complex scenarios leads to raw material waste and low production efficiency; high equipment maintenance costs and delayed responses severely disrupt continuous production lines.
These issues not only hinder production capacity growth but also escalate operational costs and safety risks.

Addressing these pain points, WESDUN showcased two core product series at the exhibition: The Extreme Condition Resistant Valve Series employs special alloy materials and a dual-seal structure, withstanding a wide temperature range of -40°C to 600°C and highly corrosive media. Its leakage rate is 5 times lower than the national standard, and its service life exceeds that of ordinary products by more than 3 times, completely solving sealing challenges in harsh environments.
The high-precision smart flowmeter series incorporates proprietary sensor chips, achieving measurement accuracy of ±0.2% FS. Supporting multi-medium compatibility and remote data transmission, it delivers stable output even under low flow rates and high viscosity conditions, enabling precise measurement and energy optimization for enterprises.
Additionally, addressing after-sales service demands in Africa, the company introduces a “72-hour rapid response” service commitment. Clients signing on-site agreements receive complimentary installation, commissioning, and a two-year warranty, eliminating all post-purchase concerns.

During the exhibition, WESDUN’s valve and flowmeter booth drew inquiries from industrial representatives across over 20 African nations, including South Africa, Nigeria, and Kenya. Multiple mining, chemical, and water treatment enterprises expressed immediate cooperation intentions after on-site product testing.
“Our plant has long suffered from frequent valve failures under high-temperature conditions. WESDUN’s products demonstrated stability far exceeding expectations during testing,” stated the Technical Director of a South African mining company. “More importantly, their localized service solutions addressed our concerns about ongoing maintenance.”

With over a decade of expertise in fluid control, WESDUN Valves and Flow Meters consistently prioritizes customer pain points in R&D. Through breakthrough core technologies and a comprehensive service system, the company has delivered customized solutions to clients across more than 40 countries and regions worldwide. Participating in the South Africa Industrial Exhibition represents not only a key initiative to expand into the African market but also a practical embodiment of the philosophy “Empowering Industrial Upgrades Through Technology.”
Moving forward, WESDUN Valves and Flow Meters will continue to focus on addressing fluid control challenges in industrial settings, introducing more high-quality products tailored to diverse regional operating conditions. This commitment aims to safeguard the efficient and safe operations of industrial enterprises worldwide.
